Angell West is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to lead their Avian and Exotics Team. This role involves providing technical support for Avian and Exotic (A/E) outpatient and in-patient procedures, assisting with case management of A/E animals, running anesthesia, and communicating with clients and referring veterinarians. The Lead Technician will support veterinarians in clinic, radiology, surgery, and other hospital areas. This position requires a positive and dynamic interaction with staff and clients, providing technical advice according to hospital policies. It demands specific knowledge of A/E clinical tests, procedures, protocols, medical terminology, animal handling, anesthesia, and math skills. The role also requires effective oral and written communication of veterinary clinical information.
