Veterinary Technician or Assistant - Avian/Exotics at Angell West - Temporary Position
About The Position
This is a temporary, full-time position (10am-8:30pm, 40hrs a week) with rotating weekends and holidays. The role involves providing technical support to an Avian/Exotics Veterinarian by assisting with case management and technical procedures for Avian/Exotic patients. It also includes communication with clients and referring veterinarians. The position offers a unique opportunity to practice in a client-focused setting with support from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital. Requirements
- Experience as an Assistant or a Certified Vet Technician.
- Avian/Exotic specific technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia, gavage feeding, medication administration and critical care.
- Experience working with Avian and Exotic animals.
