About The Position
This is a full-time position providing technical support to our Avian/Exotics Veterinarian. Responsibilities include assisting with case management and technical procedures of Avian/Exotic patients, as well as communications with clients and referring veterinarians. The role offers a unique opportunity to practice in an intimate, client-focused setting with support from the larger MSPCA-Angell Boston hospital. Requirements
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or a Certified Vet Technician.
- Avian/Exotic specific technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia, gavage feeding, medication administration and critical care.
