Lead Valet Attendant - The Westin Tampa Bay

Towne Park•Tampa, FL
•Onsite

About The Position

The Lead Valet Attendant orchestrates the hotel guest service experience while working with coworkers to meet or exceed the site’s service standards. Under the direction of the Account Manager, the role includes coordination and administrative duties and providing troubleshooting or guidance when the manager is not on-site. This is not a manager position, but it may require handling critical issues and making timely judgment calls. For non-urgent issues, the attendant reports the facts to the manager and seeks direction. The position works PM shifts at The Westin Tampa Bay. Hourly base pay is $13, plus $10–$11 per hour in tips; actual compensation depends on job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The attendant provides valet and guest assistance, leads coworkers by example, supports shift coordination, manages vehicle tickets and keys, and completes revenue and shift paperwork. The role also involves outdoor work for extended periods, exposure to extreme heat and cold, and physical tasks that may include lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally. Travel of up to 5% may be required.
