About The Position

Birch Tree Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing Lead Teacher for its in-person early learning program in Bothell. The academy offers STEM-based early learning focused on hands-on discovery, science, creativity, and exploration in a nurturing environment. The Lead Teacher will lead classroom learning, collaborate with assistant teachers, and create a safe, engaging environment that supports children’s growth and development. The role is full-time and pays $25–$28 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of childcare experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet Washington State licensing requirements for education and experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to nurture and care for young children in a safe, engaging environment.
