About The Position

Village Green Day School, part of the Endeavor Schools family, is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher. The teacher develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum, plans engaging activities that foster children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assesses and documents student progress. The role also supports children’s growth, safety, and well-being while creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school describes a supportive work environment and offers educators resources, education incentives, and career development programs. The position pays $17.00–$25.00 per hour and includes a $1,500 hiring bonus. Village Green Day School is part of a network of more than 100 schools across 14 states.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
At least 1 year of lead teacher experience in a certified childcare center.
Meet state-specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for Early Childhood education.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
