About The Position

Village Green Day School, part of Endeavor Schools, is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher. The teacher develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum, plans engaging activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assesses and documents student progress. The role also involves supporting children’s development and growth, ensuring their safety and well-being, and creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The school describes a supportive work environment and offers education incentives and career development programs to help educators build their careers. The listed pay range is USD $17.00–$25.00 per hour. The position includes a $1,500 hiring bonus.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
At least 1 year of lead teacher experience in a certified childcare center.
Meet state-specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about early childhood education.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
Love of working with children.
