Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment designed to support children during a formative stage of development. The role involves preparing a calm, beautiful, orderly classroom that encourages exploration and independence, and supporting each child through observation, individualized lessons, and respectful guidance. The Lead Toddler Guide helps children develop language, coordination, self-regulation, and confidence while encouraging them to make choices and take pride in what they can accomplish. The classroom is equipped with Montessori materials and child-sized furniture and tools. Its environment includes open spaces, natural elements, practical opportunities to build dressing, feeding, and toilet-learning skills, and materials for fine and gross motor development. Guides lead classroom routines, work collaboratively with team members, and build trusting relationships with children and families. Guidepost Montessori is a network of over 100 schools across the U.S. and Asia, serving children from 3 months to 6 years old. The organization says it designs environments to empower children to explore, grow, and flourish, with a mission to nurture independence, joy, and lifelong learning. Guidepost Global Education and Guidepost Montessori state that they are committed to equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodation for employees and applicants with disabilities or special needs when requested.
