About The Position

The Gardner School of Oak Brook is hiring a Lead Toddler Teacher to work in its state-of-the-art preschool facility. The role leads a toddler classroom, supports and mentors assistant teachers, builds relationships with children and families, and plans engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons. The teacher is responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, and joyful classroom environment while modeling the school’s values: Children First, Trust, Innovation, and Make a Difference. Requirements

CDA or Associate's degree required.
Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
At least 2 years of early childhood education experience.
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently enough to communicate effectively, implement curriculum and safety procedures, and complete written reports.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree preferred.
Lead or co-lead experience preferred.
