About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an energetic and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to join its early childhood education team. The teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers can explore, build independence, and develop essential early learning skills. The toddler program supports children’s curiosity, confidence, and development through discovery and play.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
- Must have completed 45 DCF hours.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
- A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a warm, consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
- Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
