About The Position

The Lead Toddler Guide leads a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment designed to support children during a formative stage of development. The Guide prepares and maintains a calm, orderly classroom that invites exploration and fosters independence, curiosity, and confidence. Through observation, individualized lessons, and respectful guidance, the Guide supports each child’s language, coordination, self-regulation, and development. The role also involves building trusting relationships with children and families, communicating with parents, and collaborating with the classroom team.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group care or early learning setting.
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar.
• Required ECE or Child Development credits.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through the Prepared Montessorian Institute, or a previously earned Montessori diploma.
