About The Position

This internal-only position is for a Lead Technology Teacher (Berko/Soko) for the SY26-27 school year. The ideal candidate is an experienced and licensed teacher with strong instructional leadership skills, particularly in integrating student assessment and technology. This role involves serving as a model classroom, planning and facilitating professional development, and providing one-on-one support to faculty. The lead teacher will also support the integration of Mastery Connect and Google Classroom, assist with assessment data organization and analysis, and participate in various school-wide professional development activities. This position is for an existing ELC classroom teacher who will receive a lane change for the additional workload, with responsibilities extending beyond the regular school day/year.

Requirements

Experienced and licensed teacher.
Demonstrated exemplary teaching and instructional leadership skills.
Emphasis on integrating student assessment and technology for instruction.
Completed Mastery Connect train the trainer professional development.
Experience using Google Classroom.

Responsibilities

Serve as a model classroom for effective instruction using student assessment and technology to drive instruction.
Plan and facilitate new teacher orientation sessions.
Plan and facilitate professional development sessions.
Provide one-on-one support focused on Mastery Connect, technology and curriculum integration, and Google Classroom for ELC faculty.
Support the integration of Mastery Connect and Google Classroom into the ELC instructional planning process.
Support the organization and data collection of common formative and summative assessments and quarterly data cycles.
Collect and analyze assessment data to inform instruction and professional development in conjunction with the ELC Leadership team.
Help plan, facilitate and/or participate in PLCs, faculty meetings, PD, Chelsea Professional Learning Academies and New Teacher Days on and Google Classroom as needed.
