About The Position

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Lead Technician to support its fleet maintenance and refrigeration service team. The role combines shift leadership and day-to-day shop oversight with hands-on diagnosis, maintenance, and repair work involving diesel, refrigeration, truck, and trailer systems. The technician serves as the go-to expert on shift, supports quality service, communicates with customers and colleagues across shifts, and ensures safety procedures and company policies are followed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience as a technician or supervisor in fleet or refrigeration services.
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift schedules and distribute workload.
• Supervise technicians and ensure quality standards.
• Communicate with customers and team members across shifts.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration units using OEM software.
• Perform preventive maintenance services, DOT inspections, brake repairs, and general truck and trailer maintenance.
• Handle road service calls and APU repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
