Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant electronic security or low‑voltage experience
  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Technician
  • Strong understanding of electrical and security drawings
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Strong working knowledge of security networking concepts
  • Experience using test equipment (multimeters, network testers, scanners)
  • Proficiency with power tools and installation equipment
  • Ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Follow Citiloc Systems Ltd standards, policies, and safety procedures
  • Lead and perform installation of access control systems, intrusion detection systems, video surveillance systems, entry intercom systems, building automation systems, parking control systems, electronic locking hardware (electric strikes, magnetic locks, panic hardware), structured cabling, EMT / PVC / Wiremold conduit, and automatic doors, gates, and operators.
  • Integrate security systems across platforms as required
  • Perform system configuration, software installation, firmware upgrades, and testing
  • Work from ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
  • Attend and participate in site meetings
  • Coordinate with other trades on active job sites
  • Configure and support security system networks (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
  • DHCP and Dynamic DNS configuration
  • Router, firewall, and port forwarding setup (security systems context)
  • Install server/client software and configure network switches
  • Maintain system updates and firmware
  • Complete commissioning and test reports
  • Complete deficiency and punch lists
  • Complete work orders and redline documentation
  • Support system commissioning and client handover
  • Train clients and end users on installed systems
  • Provide clear and accurate documentation to the management team
  • Provide on‑site leadership, mentoring, and technical support to field staff
  • Act as technical escalation point when required
