About The Position
Everbrook Academy of Apple Valley is hiring a Lead Teacher to create interactive learning experiences, support and mentor fellow teachers, and promote preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's development and the center's success. The role involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activities with them.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
- Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
- Mentor fellow teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children's achievement and support the center's success.
