About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position requires the ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children. Learning Care Group describes its programs as supporting children from 6 weeks to 12 years through a research-based curriculum in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
