About The Position

Busy Bees is hiring a full-time Closing Lead Teacher at its El Mirage, Arizona center. The Lead Teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home experience in accordance with Early Learning Leaders NAC guidelines. The role supports children ages 6 weeks through 12 years and includes creating developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities, maintaining a warm and safe learning environment, and communicating with families. The posting states there are two openings and notes that a Closing Toddler Teacher position is also available. No evenings or weekends are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized.
Ability to work within regular operating hours.
Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks through 12 years.
Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards and the Arizona Early Learning Standards.
Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
Partner with families to plan the best care and education for their children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
