About The Position

Busy Bees is seeking a Closing Lead Teacher for its North Phoenix, Arizona center. As part of the BrightPath Kids and Busy Bees global childcare community, the teacher works alongside other teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children, following Early Learning Leaders NAC guidelines. The role serves children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age and includes developing and delivering learning experiences aligned with NAC standards and the Arizona Early Learning Standards. The position is full-time and has no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized.
Ability to work within regular operating hours.
Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Must have a Level 1 Fingerprint Card.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks through 12 years.
Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards and the Arizona Early Learning Standards.
Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore.
Partner with families to create plans that provide the best care and education for their children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
