About The Position

Busy Bees is seeking a Lead Teacher at its North Chandler, Arizona center. The Lead Teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, following Early Learning Leaders NAC guidelines. The role includes ensuring children’s safety and supervision, developing age-appropriate learning experiences, maintaining a warm and clean environment, and communicating with families. The posting lists full-time and part-time options and states there are no evening or weekend shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards and the Arizona Early Learning Standards.
• Develop programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore.
• Partner with families to develop plans that support the best care and education for their children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
