About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is expected to know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards, and to build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
