About The Position

This is a Lead Teacher position at La Petite Academy on Fourier Drive. The teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers, while supporting preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. It also involves building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.
