About The Position

The Lead Teacher works at The Learning Experience, an early childhood academic childcare center serving children from infancy through preschool. The role supports children’s learning, play, and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities and a safe, organized classroom. The Lead Teacher monitors children’s developmental milestones, communicates daily updates and moments with families through a mobile app, and collaborates with fellow teachers to provide a supportive learning environment. The position pays $19.00–$24.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
• Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
• Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
• Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
