About The Position

The Lead Teacher at LaPetite Academy of Monona creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position requires an energetic, dependable, passionate individual who is at least 18 years old, has experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans, and can meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements. The teacher must be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
