About The Position

La Petite Academy of Kenosha is hiring a Lead Teacher for preschool and prekindergarten children. The teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the classroom. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow teachers.
