About The Position

La Petite Academy of Suamico is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschool children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures classroom practices follow licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
