About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success.

The position involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. Learning Care Group describes its programs as serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years, with research-based curricula intended to support holistic development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
