About The Position

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The role also includes mentoring fellow teachers and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
