About The Position

The Learning Experience is hiring an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to create a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. The teacher will use the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and classroom resources, working with a collaborative center team to teach children and build meaningful relationships with children and families. The role involves leading a safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate preschool classroom; supporting children's development; maintaining classroom routines and documentation; and partnering with teachers and center leadership. The position requires active supervision of young children and participation in classroom and outdoor activities.

Requirements

Previous experience in a preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom.
High school diploma.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for helping young children learn and develop.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate preschool classroom.
Bring TLE's L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life through hands-on lessons and activities.
Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
Create a positive classroom environment where every child feels welcomed and supported.
Observe children's development and communicate progress with families.
Maintain classroom routines, learning materials, and required documentation.
Partner with fellow teachers and center leadership to create an exceptional family experience.
Follow New York childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
Actively supervise young children and participate in classroom and outdoor activities.
