Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care and learning of children at a child care center. The role helps maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom while following licensing guidelines and company standards. Assistant Teachers develop their skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Communicate effectively with families.
