About The Position

The Learning Experience of The Learning Experience #144 is hiring a Lead Teacher to support children’s growth and development in a daycare and private preschool setting. The Lead Teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment and implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, adapting to each child’s needs. The role includes leading and mentoring co-teachers, communicating with families about children’s progress, and partnering with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals. The franchise is independently owned and operated; the franchisee makes all hiring decisions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) required.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers, model behaviors, and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Model a growth mindset and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in a way that meets each child’s needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals for enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
