About The Position

Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to lead a classroom and support children’s safety, well-being, and development. The role includes planning engaging activities that promote growth across areas of development and building strong partnerships with parents through open communication. The position is part of an organization serving children from six weeks to twelve years across 11 states.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a background check.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of starting employment.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding of children’s needs and development.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable to community needs and changing circumstances.
• Be capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Education in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working within a licensed center.
