Requirements

Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

Ability to meet state licensing requirements for childcare professionals in Texas.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans for toddler-aged children.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social-emotional development.
Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities.
Maintain accurate developmental records, assessments, and documentation for each child.
Ensure classroom health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
