Lead Teacher for 2-4 year old
About The Position
The Lead Teacher coordinates the daily operations of an assigned class for children ages 2 to 4. The teacher plans, presents, and evaluates educational and recreational activities in a safe environment, works directly with children and parents, and provides quality customer service. The role includes observing children's interests, collaborating with other teachers to develop engaging curriculum ideas, and communicating with parents about children's activities and achievements, including through mobile apps and personal discussions. Teachers receive support from directors, including planning or resource time, and work as part of a team focused on children's development and safety.
Requirements
- Develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with handling children, facilitating programs, ensuring child safety, and responding to potential emergencies.
- Meet background check eligibility.
