About The Position

The Lead Teacher at Childtime of Byron Center leads a preschool classroom and creates fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers. The role promotes children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position is for energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 years old, can meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements, and can work indoors or outdoors while engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
