About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires meeting state education requirements and childcare center requirements, and working indoors or outdoors while engaging in physical activity with children. The required credential is a CDA or degree. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• CDA or degree required.

• Hourly pay of $19.25; bi-weekly and Daily Pay options. Compensation may be based on position, education, and experience.
