About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Must have a CDA or higher in early childhood education, as stated in the job title.
