About The Position

The Lead Teacher 3 position at The Ohio State University's Child Care Program is responsible for supervising and integrating all daily and long-term planning for the classroom in collaboration with the support team and other classroom team members. This role ensures that the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of children are met in accordance with the center's philosophy, curriculum, policies, and state licensing rules. The Lead Teacher 3 implements, evaluates, and communicates classroom programming, routines, and procedures. This position also manages the classroom by completing necessary paperwork, training and evaluating staff, and problem-solving with the team and parents. Additionally, the Lead Teacher 3 implements health, safety, and security processes and procedures, including CACFP meal counting, and participates in professional development and center-wide and university teams.

• Participates in professional development and center wide and university teams
