About The Position

Systems engineering is a cross-functional discipline that considers customers’ business and technical needs to deliver quality products. It includes identifying and quantifying system requirements, developing and evaluating design concepts, conducting trade studies, selecting and implementing designs, and verifying system integration from concept through production and operation. This role affects approaches, projects, and programs across the functional area, and has significant input into priorities and substantial autonomy in operational judgment. The Lead Systems Integration Engineer leads and contributes to engineering changes, technical programs, and Services investments to improve wind turbine reliability, availability, and serviceability while reducing forced outages and Services costs. The role partners with Program Management, Product Line, and Systems Leaders on design decisions, system trade-offs, requirements, and engineering practices, and communicates technical analysis and recommendations to internal and external audiences. The position is hybrid, with four days onsite and one day off. Preferred locations are GE Vernova Headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, or Schenectady, New York. Relocation assistance may be available for non-local candidates. The U.S.-based position has a pay range of $98,400 to $164,000, with geographic differentials in certain areas and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. The posting was expected to remain open for at least seven days after October 20, 2026. The role supports work involving a client’s critical infrastructure, and shortlisted candidates are subject to heightened security checks as directed by clients.
