About The Position

This role involves supervising associates in a warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies. The Lead, Support will be responsible for assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and fostering associate engagement through learning opportunities and teamwork. They will also manage workloads to meet deadlines, resolve issues, and complete assignments by utilizing data and collaborating with various stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to ethical conduct, and the ability to drive continuous improvement and support a culture of belonging and integrity.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience as a Walmart Supply Chain associate OR 1 year's experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution center environment OR 2 or more years' of college in a Business or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise associates in area of responsibility by assigning duties and coordinating workloads, monitoring performance and providing feedback.
  • Support associate engagement by providing learning opportunities, building relationships, providing cross-training opportunities, and encouraging teamwork.
  • Monitor work plans, workloads, and associates to meet deadlines by solving problems, resolving delays, and auditing progress.
  • Complete and prioritize work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
  • Help resolve day-to-day associate challenges by communicating with the area manager and providing subject matter experts or other managers as needed.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, and coordinating work assignments.
