About The Position

The Lead Software Systems Engineer drives software systems engineering for one or more complex software products. The engineer influences requirements across teams, anticipates cross-functional risks, and adapts secure software development practices to fit each initiative. The role contributes broad technical and domain knowledge to architecture, features, deployment, and system performance, and identifies opportunities to affect costs, schedules, and commitments across the engineering organization. The position is a strategic partner to Overtur Product Management, balancing preparation for upcoming initiatives with attention to active work and ensuring the delivery team has what it needs. It calls for forward-looking thinking to position platforms for scale and growth. The job is based in Allegion’s Indianapolis office under a hybrid model, with three onsite days per week.
