About The Position

North American Roofing is seeking a Lead Roofing Service Repair Technician for its service team in the Memphis area. The company provides commercial and industrial flat and low-slope roofing solutions, including TPO, PVC, and EPDM systems. The role leads repair work and collaborates with an Assistant Field Technician and regional sales representative to investigate roofing issues and deliver quality client solutions. The company is also open to hiring service repair teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial roofing experience as an installer or service technician.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain OSHA, man-lift, and forklift certifications.
• Ability to climb a ladder and, as needed, lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Ability to operate a tablet and smartphone.
• Good driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a roofing foreman.

Responsibilities

• Find and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs.
• Perform service repairs and small contract jobs as needed.
• Conduct inspections and minor preventative maintenance repairs.
• Assist with storm-related events, participating in repairs or providing supervision.
• Learn and operate the service software (FCS), and enter accurate information into it.
• Develop advanced knowledge of roof systems and their components.
• Complete quality repairs without workmanship-related callbacks.
• Identify and collect data for proposed scopes of work.
• Understand warranty and non-warranty repair types.
