About The Position

This role serves as a primary lead for the security team, responsible for maintaining a protected environment for all personnel and guests. The position involves supervising, mentoring, and assessing team members' performance. It also supports operational excellence by coordinating tasks, managing priorities, and facilitating issue resolution. The Lead-Security Officer will execute standard security professional responsibilities and functions, champion a collaborative culture, and audit team documentation for accuracy. Additionally, this role involves examining, reporting, and overseeing security events and risks, as well as resolving high-level concerns.

Requirements

Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree.
1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Law Enforcement.
Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.
Security Professional.
Security Guard specializing in Healthcare.
Security Guard.
Prior security or law enforcement experience.
Background in lead or supervisory roles.
