The Lead Sales Associate delivers an inspiring shopping experience, helping guests feel empowered to customize their space. The role promotes the Frontgate brand in every guest interaction and leads the team in upholding brand values, standards, and experiences. The Lead Sales Associate guides company programs, increases sales, and helps the store exceed expectations. The position reports to the Assistant Store Manager and is onsite daily in West Chester, Ohio. Relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

At least 3 years of specialty retail experience; the posting states this experience is not required.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for floor-set execution.
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel (including maintaining complex spreadsheets), Outlook, and POS systems.
Ability to meet additional physical requirements, which may include climbing ladders.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional guest experience and lead a team of service-minded associates.
Coach team members on product knowledge and equip them to meet guest needs.
Partner with the Sales Lead-Visual Merchandising on product and assortment needs to keep the store visually compelling.
Perform store opening, closing, and banking activities.
Promote the Frontgate brand and ensure the team exemplifies its values, standards, and experiences.
Guide company programs and work to increase sales and ensure the store exceeds expectations.
