About The Position

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring a Lead Sales and Design Associate in Humble, Texas. The role focuses on driving sales through customer service, product knowledge, and effective communication. Compensation is commission-only, with unlimited earning potential; the listed annual pay range is $65,000–$90,000. The position is in person and full-time.

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably in furniture or retail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by financial incentives.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of interior design principles.
• Additional education or training in sales or interior design.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide information and recommendations about furniture and home decor products.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and goals.
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing furniture and provide a seamless shopping experience.
• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and inventory changes.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide after-sales support.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Participate in promotional events, sales campaigns, and training sessions.
• Conduct in-home consultations, space planning and layout work, furniture selection and sourcing, and coordinate ordering and installation.
