About The Position

La-Z-Boy is seeking a motivated, results-driven In-Home Designer/Sales Associate to drive sales through customer service, product knowledge, and effective communication. The role includes in-home consultations, space planning and layouts, furniture selection and sourcing, ordering, and installation. It is commission-only, with unlimited earning potential. The position is based in person in Round Rock, Texas, and offers a supportive team environment, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to work with a range of furniture and home decor products.

Requirements

Proven sales experience, preferably in furniture or retail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by financial incentives.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of interior design principles.
Additional education or training in sales or interior design.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers to understand their needs and preferences.

Build and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Participate in promotional events, sales campaigns, and training sessions.
Conduct in-home consultations, space planning and layout work, furniture selection and sourcing, ordering, and installation.
