About The Position

AbleLight is hiring a part-time Lead Retail Sales Associate. Lead Sales Associates assist in supervising store operations, product rotation, and the training and coaching of associates and volunteers in support of AbleLight's mission, vision, and core values. They provide direction to staff to help ensure customer satisfaction and production standards are met and established goals are achieved.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail or customer service experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by AbleLight.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis and more occasionally, and stand for up to eight hours.
• Able to assemble and move racks and shelves for extended periods.
• Able to carry items up and down stairs as needed.
• Must be able to work full-time hours during the week, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains established standards to ensure maximum value on donated goods and effective space utilization.
• Provides coaching and training to assigned associates and volunteers.
• Assists in resolving associate, donor, and customer concerns.
• Follows established loss prevention and security procedures.
• Completes required reports accurately and on time.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work environment and ensures staff follow safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
