About The Position

AbleLight is hiring full-time and part-time Lead Retail Sales Associates. The role assists in supervising store operations, product rotation, and the training and coaching of associates and volunteers to advance AbleLight’s mission, vision, and core values. Lead Associates provide direction to staff to ensure customer satisfaction and production standards are met and established goals are achieved. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of retail or customer service experience.
One year of leadership experience.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record as defined by AbleLight.
Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally, and to stand for up to eight hours.
Ability to assemble and move racks and shelves for extended periods.
Ability to carry items up and down stairs as needed.
Must be able to work full-time hours during the week, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain established standards to achieve maximum value on donated goods while using space effectively.
Coach and train assigned associates and volunteers.
Assist in resolving concerns from associates, donors, and customers.
Follow established loss prevention and security procedures.
Complete required reports accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment and ensure staff follow safe work practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
