About The Position

We are looking for a Lead Registered Nurse to join our team. The Lead RN plays a vital role in supporting our mission and upholding our values by delivering safe, high-quality patient care in addition to monitoring providing oversight of our nursing team. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, ensuring both clinical excellence and team efficiency.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with current RN license
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as EPIC, Modmed, required
Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a GI lab, Surgery Center or Critical Care setting highly preferred
Pre-Op and/or PACU experience is helpful

Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care before, during and immediately after procedures
Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
Recognize and act on emergency care needs in the event of respiratory and/or cardiac occurrences.
Report emergencies, unusual occurrences, and/or problems to the Operations Manager.
Assist the Operations Manager in leading day to day operation and coordination of patient care.
Establish appropriate RN goals and strategies for meeting effective patient care.
Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager to improve patient, provider and staff satisfaction.
Analyze clinical practice and identify opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness and efficiency.
Identify clinical indicators to measure, evaluate and improve care.
Assist the Operations Manager in the recruitment, retention and performance of RN staff.
Monitor RN license and certification expiration dates.
Work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures
