About The Position

K&G Fashion Superstore is hiring a Lead Receiving Associate to perform receiving and merchandise processing. The role monitors receiving-process effectiveness and productivity, ensures merchandise is checked in and processed correctly, records receiving information, maintains related paperwork, and processes returns, transfers, and damaged merchandise according to company procedures. It also helps control inventory shortages and overages. The starting pay range is $18.00–$22.50 per hour, with potential to increase to $27.00 depending on merit, length of service, and other factors. Final pay considers skills, background, experience, market location, and applicable prevailing wage laws. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 pounds; and climb a ladder to reach merchandise or supplies.

Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and productivity of the receiving process.
Ensure merchandise is checked in, ticketed, hung, folded, and tagged correctly, then delivered to the proper staging or selling-floor area daily.
Enter receiving information accurately and promptly in the Store Receiving and Transfer (SRT) System and Manager’s Workstation.
Maintain receiving paperwork and files.
Process returns to vendor (RTVs), transfers, and damaged merchandise accurately and promptly according to company procedures.
Use proper receiving procedures to eliminate or control inventory shortages and overages.
