About The Position

This role involves executing high-quality radiologic exams by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical factors to provide physicians with the clear images needed for accurate diagnosis. The Lead Radiology Technologist will protect patient well-being by strictly following radiation safety guidelines and monitoring for any physical changes during procedures, ensuring a safe and secure imaging experience. They will advocate for diagnostic excellence by validating all image data and patient history within the PACS system, ensuring the medical team has immediate access to reliable clinical information. Additionally, they will maintain a high-standard clinical environment by proactively monitoring equipment performance and ensuring all procedure areas are sterile, organized, and ready for care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
